Programme Organisation The programme has been designed for individual study, under supervision of one or more tutors. This means that this course is flexible: you may study at your own pace, you may start whenever you want within a fixed period (see the details the Calendar) and you may start working with more modules/components at the same time. For admission to the Postgraduate Diploma course (or to a component of the course) an intake procedure is required. After admission, Postgraduate Diploma students are required to submit a study plan, which they write with the assistance of the study co-ordinator. The materials will be delivered through a password-protected digital learning environment, Blackboard. You start with one (or more) of the modules; on completion of all the modules you go on either with the design project task or the essay. The tutor will give feedback on the products that you submit and will give you support. The tutor may ask you to rewrite or change some products in order to meet the requirements of a specific task or of the final requirements of a course. Limited duration There is a limited duration of your enrolment in the different parts of the course and for the course as a whole. The maximum period of time for completing one module is two months, the maximum period of time for completing the project task or the essay is three months. In July and August it is not possible to enrol. This means that from the moment of enrolment you have a maximum of 18 months to finish the course. On completion of every part of the programme you will get a postgraduate Certificate. If you have not completed all parts after 18 months, you will have to separately enrol for the missing parts, and on completion you will get the postgraduate diploma. Please note that application deadlines apply for the admission. All documents required must have been received by the study co-ordinator of the Postgraduate Diploma before the relevant deadline.
