The National Research School for Educational Studies in the Netherlands listed L1-Educational Studies in Language and Literature since 2001 on the list of journals accepted for academic records.

The Ministery of Sceince in Denmark classified L1-Educational Studies in Language and Literature as a level 2 journal.
